There is another election for city council coming up. The ward one seat vacated by Mayor Brian Bailey needs to be filled. Ward one is east of Main Street. If you live in that area, and if you are registered to vote, you will receive a ballot in the mail early in February. I hope you will consider voting for Tim Waters. Tim believes that the measure of our city government is how well the residents are treated. Tim has spent most of his career in the field of eduction. Education is one of the components that holds our society together. Congratulations to him for doing that important work.

Tim is very forthright about his positions. If you google -tim waters longmont ward 1- and scroll down a bit, you will find his website. In his website, he explains his positions on several important issues. Read for yourself and decide.

Tim is experienced, he is a problem solver and he believes in the strength of the community. We would do well to elect him to city council.

This special election, like all others is funded by the taxpayers.

Voting is the least we can do. Attend city council once is a while and familiarize yourself with the working of our city government.
