My name is Chris McGilvray, a Longmont resident, educator and small business owner. I am writing to encourage residents to vote for Regan Sample for Longmont City Council Ward 3 and Jeff Moore for Longmont City Council At-Large. Let's begin with Regan. I first met Regan 8 years ago while we were volunteering at an event called Unity in the Community organized by the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce. I connected with Regan over the similarities of having young children, recently started a business of our own and our love for the Longmont community. His passion for small business development, preserving our environment, smart sustainable growth and education is what makes him special. He can see many sides of an issue and work together with people that have different points of view. Regan is the type of person that can collaborate and get things done. I encourage you to vote for Regan Sample.

Jeff Moore is a leader who embodies all the right skills and experiences to represent our community on City Council. She is a balanced strategic thinker who listens to all, not just a party line. His passion for taking care of his environment and fostering small business development is second-to-none. He goes beyond talking. He is a proven leader of action. I have seen firsthand what Jeff is capable of, in regards to delivering results through the creation of strong partnerships with all different stakeholder. For example. I am currently collaborating with Jeff on a community-based learning project involving Tinkermill Makerspace and front Range Community College. Jeff understands the importance of leading through empathy and compassion. Please join me in voting for Jeff for City Council At-Large.
