I am looking forward to voting for Josh Goldberg to fill the city council
seat vacated when Brian Bagley was elected mayor.
I am often asked how one can prepare for an elected position. My answer is
always the same. Volunteer for as many non-profit boards and comissions in
the community as possible.
Josh goldberg has done just that. He has the reputation of careful
consideration as a member of the planning and zoning commission. He serves
on the board of direcors of the chamber of commerce, he served on the
visit longmont board.and rreceived a thorough knowledge of the community as
a graduate of the leadership longmont program.
Recognizing the value of developiing young leadership for the future, Josh
was selected as one of the boulder valley top 40 under 40 up and coming
young professionals.
Josh is well known in his professional life, as a tireless fundraiser in
local and regional charity fund events that benefit our community.
City council positions are to be non-partisan. Josh is a moderate who has
deliberately avoided the recent tendancy to make a non-partisan position,
partisan.
If you are a longmont resident residing in ward 1 it is time make the
effort to become informed and most of all to vote in the upcoming election.
Josh is accustomed to carefully looking at all sides of an issue before
making a decision.
