February 5, 1940 — April 29, 2024

Joseph Nathan Perry was born February 5, 1940 at home in Canton, Ohio and graduated to his heavenly home on April 25, 2024. 

 He worked for United Parcel Service for 17 years   He started as a delivery driver, became a supervisor and a manager and then a Center Manager.   After moving to Virginia he sold various products and loved meeting people.  Where ever he went he made point of talking to nearly everyone.

He accepted the Lord as his Savior at the age of seven while living in California.  He was later baptized in the Holy Spirit at age 13.   He was proud to have been selected to usher at a revival and started ushering at his church at the age of 15 and ushered in churches he attended from then on until he was in his 70s.

He loved to play golf and played in Oahu, Maui and Big Island of Hawaii and in the Bahamas.  He also played at the most northern course in Fairbanks Alaska.

He also enjoyed riding a motorcycle.  He had a bad motorcycle accident in 1974, but as soon as he was able, he began riding again and rode his Gold Wing Honda until two years ago.

He loved travelling and was blessed to visit Israel three times.

Joe has two sisters and three half brothers and a half sister.  He is survived by Joan, his loving wife of 46 years, two daughters, Lynnea Bennett and husband Terry and grandson Justin of Alexandria, Kentucky and Karen Perry of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and two sisters, Lois Rouse and husband Delbert of Lincoln, Nebraska, and Yvonne Chelette of Cleveland, Tennessee.  He has nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and four double first cousins and many other cousins.  He was preceded in death by his parents Delia and Bert Perry, three half brothers and a half sister and aunts and uncles.
