April was Autism Awareness Month and, while it's a good idea to remind people about awareness for autism, few need reminding. Given the significant number of individuals impacted by ASD (current diagnosis rates are up nearly 300% and expected to increase by 1,292% by 2020 - according to the CDC), one would think we could do a much better job of helping autistic individuals gain employment. The sad truth, though, is we don't. People with autism are untapped reservoir of talent, and adults with autism bring special talents to the workplace. Join this panel conversation and discover why thinking differently about autism in the workplace is something that you should embrace for your creative and innovative pursuits.
