Workshop sheds light on why cyclists 'do what they do'

Learn what the laws are, and how to keep yourself and others safe

Whether you love bicycles, or they make you beep, you can learn how to travel more safely and enjoyably this winter at the final “Get the Beep out of My Way” workshop of 2023.

Are bicycles in your way? At Tuesday,'s workshop, you’ll learn why people on bicycles do what they do, what the laws are, and how to keep yourself and others safe whether you’re driving, walking or biking, City of Longmont said in a news release.

The workshop is free, but the city asks attendees to please register in advance at this link.

  • When: Tuesday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.
  • Where: St. Vrain Cidery; 350 Terry St., Suite 130 (main access is from the alley between 3rd & 4th Avenues and between Terry and Coffman Streets)
