Longmont, Colorado — Centennial State Ballet will host a Sugar Plum Tea Party fundraiser on Saturday, November 25 and Sunday, November 26, 2017. This event is an annual tradition for the organization and assists in raising funds for the local non-profit youth ballet company.

  • WHO: Centennial State Ballet has been in operation for 20 years as the exclusive, pre-professional youth ballet company of Longmont, Colorado. Centennial State Ballet is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing classical ballet performances for the community.
  • WHAT: Centennial State Ballet will host their 15th annual Sugar Plum Tea Party fundraiser during the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend. The ticket price includes a delightful afternoon with warm tea, sweet and savory edibles, harp accompaniment, a mini-Nutcracker performance and a souvenir photo taken with the Sugar Plum Fairy. A Nutcracker boutique, filled with whimsical ornaments and gifts available for purchase, provides the organization with additional revenue during the event. Centennial State Ballet invites both young and old to join them for a wonderful afternoon at the start of the 2017 Holiday Season. The event has sold out in year’s past and the organization has three available reservation times to accommodate the demand.
  • WHY: Centennial State Ballet celebrates their 20th anniversary in the 2017-2018 Performance Season, entitled Looking Back, Moving Forward. CSB is proud to be a part of the Longmont Arts Community. The mission of the organization is to provide live ballet performances to the community. CSB maintains operations via local business sponsors and individual donors, ticket sales from performances, and various fundraisers throughout the year. Ticket sales from the Sugar Plum Tea Party will help fund the 17th annual, grand-scale production of The Nutcracker, featuring accompaniment by the Flatirons Community Orchestra and the St Vrain Singers. The organization produces three full-length ballets each Season as well as several small performances through their Outreach program which serves Boulder County Residents.
