Colorado voters are being urged to hand in their ballots at a voting center or a 24-hour drop box from now until 7 p.m. Election Day, November 6.

Even if your ballot is postmarked it will not count if it is not in the hands of election officials by the 7 p.m. deadline on Election Day. By using a voting center of a drop box, voters can save themselves the cost of a stamp as well.

"I have worked very hard to provide funding for our county clerks to set up 24-hour drop boxes so voters can drop off their ballots any time of the day or night," Secretary Williams said. "In Colorado, we want to make it as easy as possible for people to vote."

"The Voter Service and Polling Centers in each county will be open through Election Day, except for Sunday, Nov. 4. All voters who vote in person must provide identification. To find a voting center or drop box near you, use this voting information tool," according to the Colorado Secretary of State's office.

Ballots can no longer be requested and mailed to voters. Anyone who does not have a ballot, is registered to vote and wishes to must go to a voter center to cast their vote.
