Longmont Annual Cruise Night kicked off without a hitch and with hitches on trucks the size of meteors, along with hatchbacks in zoom, beside lowriders with hydraulics, between muscle cars with rumble, and in front of crowds of gearheads lined all the way down Main Street. The night was loud and raucous and full of invigorating fumes until about 9 p.m. when traffic was practically at a standstill for two dozen blocks.
