Friday, Oct. 25

Animators + Filmakers Galore Meetup

  • Time: 5-7 p.m.
  • Location: Longtucky Spirits, 350 Terry Ste, 120

Join us for the first installment of the local video & animation meetup. If you tell stories, shoot and/ or edit video, animate or design, you’re not gonna want to miss this! Come meet local talent, form new alliances, find freelance opportunities, network & exchange war stories! But more importantly share a craft cocktail while connection with people in the industry.

Ghost Tour of Dickens Opera House

  • Time: 11:59 p.m
  • Location: Main St.

We are opening doors after hours to the first 40 tickets sold for another chance to join a paranormal investigation here at the Dickens.
P.R.I.S.M Colorado will be co-hosting this event with the Dickens Tavern & Opera House. Guests will meet around midnight in the Tavern for a tour of the 16,000+ sq. ft historical building before going in teams of 10 investigating what is offered on the other side.
The event will likely go shortly after 3am and be sure to give you the chills!

Itty Bitty City

  • Time: 9 a.m.-11 a.m. (this is a reoccurring event, check link for more)
  • Location: 700 Longs Peak Ave.

Itty Bitty City returns to the Memorial Building on September 13 and we have some new toys! Kids ages 6 months to 5 years have lots of room to run and play from 9-11am on Fridays in our gymnasium, at 700 Longs Peak Avenue. Parents must supervise their children. Please, no older children. This is a drop-in program; no registration needed. $3 per child or $24 for a 10-visit pass. Call 303-651-8404 with questions.

Family Flick and Float YMCA

  • Time: 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.

It’s Friday night, and we are going to the movies… in the pool. Join us at the Longmont Y pool, for a monthly family movie night this fall and winter. You bring the floaties and swim gear, we will bring the popcorn and big screen. Free to members; non-members pay guest fee. On Oct 25, we will feature a spooktacular film about a family of blood suckers who host the ghostliest guests at their destination hotel.

Sticker Giant Factory Tour

Haunt in the 'Mont

Haunt in the 'Mont is a Halloween themed "Business Crawl" allowing ticket holders to receive free treats, drinks, samples and coupons from over 20 of Downtown Longmont's great businesses.

Halloween Parade

  • Time 9:30- Noon
  • Location: Downtown Longmont

Dress up in your Halloween costume on Saturday, Oct. 26, march down Main Street, and visit Downtown participating merchants for Trick or Treat Street immediately following Longmont's annual Halloween Parade. FREE - no registration required. Line up at Roosevelt Park, 700 Longs Peak Avenue, at 9:30am. Parade starts at 10am. Build Toys for Kids

  • Time: 10 a.m.- Noon
  • 1240 Kimbark St.

Put your woodshop skills to use! Come help us build toys for Longmont Kiwanis club to distribute across North and South America to children in need of something fun to call their own. This is a fun activity for all ages!!!

The Best Halloween Show Ever

  • Time: 8 p.m.-10 p.m.

Truck or Treat

  • Time: 1 p.m.- 3 p.m.

Longmont Public Safety Truck or Treat is Saturday, October 26 at Longmont Fire Station 5, 617 Barberry Drive. Dress the kids in costumes and meet your Longmont Firefighters (and Police Officers) at this open house which runs from 1-3pm

Howling Halloween Meet & Greet

  • Time: 11:30- 2:30 p.m.
  • Location: 1225 Ken Pratt Blvd Unit 108

DK Canine Training will be at Four Paws & Co. from 11:30am-2:30pm to offer Halloween training tips such as: handling trick-or-treaters at your door, responding to scary decorations, and how to keep your dog safe on Halloween! We will also offer demonstrations and a doggie costume photo booth for $5 (free for current clients).

Fall Festival

St. Vrain Cidery Zombie Yoga

Start with ZombieYoga at 10AM and come dressed in your best zombie costume for a chance to win the seminal work “Zen of Zombie: Better Living Through the Undead” and a free CiderYoga class with a complementary full pour of cider. After making contact with your inner Zombie, stay for a chill afternoon of cider and games. We’ll have another costume contest for best zombie in evening.
