Tiny's Oktoberfest Bierschnapps Release, Friday, September 28, 5-9 p.m.

We're releasing the much anticipated collaboration with Left Hand Brewing Company and Vapor Distillery.

We distilled the remainder of Left Hand's 2016 Oktoberfest Marzen Lager (at Vapor Distillery) and aged it in new American oak barrels. The resulting whiskey is incredibly smooth and still provides all your favorite Oktoberfest characteristics. Bottles are $60 each.

Learn to Brew Beer Class, Saturday, September 29 1-4 p.m.

Interested in learning how to brew your own beer and having fun? Hanging with some really cool folks? Join us for one of our Learn to Brew Beer classes. This free class is designed for the beginner and will introduce you to the entire brewing process, using a hands-on, small classroom approach. The Secret Garden, Saturday, September 29, 2-4 p.m.

Longmont Fire Station 4 Open House, Saturday, September 29, 1-3 p.m.

On Saturday, September 29, Longmont Fire Station #4, 501 23rd Avenue, will open its doors to the community from 1 to 3 p.m. Come by and check out the equipment and meet your Longmont firefighters. The Longmont Fire Station crew will also provide instruction on hands-only CPR and answer any of your questions regarding fire extinguishers (how to properly use them, provide information so that you can select one for your property, and/or where to dispose of an extinguisher). We are looking forward to meeting you. The event is free.

Coffee with Council, Saturday, September 29, 9-10 a.m. 

Longmont City Council will host Coffee with Council from 9 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, at Ute Creek Golf Course, 2000 Ute Creek Drive. You can talk informally with at least two council members on any topic of your choice, and the coffee’s on us. Council members Finley and Christensen are scheduled to attend. Then, Have Coffee with a Cop, Saturday, September 29, 3-5 p.m.

From 3 to 5 pm on Saturday, September 29, meet and discuss issues with Longmont police officers at Ziggi’s Coffee, 400 Main Street. The coffee’s free and the topics are up to you!

Live Hand Drawn Dog Portraits by Cynthia Barnes, Artist and Owner of Inspiration Art Academy, Saturday, September 29, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Cynthia Barnes, Artist and Owner of Inspiration Art Academy will be drawing dog portraits for a minimum donation of $5 with 100% of the proceeds benefiting Longmont Humane Society. The event will take place at Sweet Nightingale Boutique & Home Decor - 439 Main St.
