90s Alternative Tribute Night at Dicken’s Opera House

The 90’s come alive at Dickens! Get a taste of Seattle grunge with TEN – a tribute to Pearl Jam, the alternative rock of Stone Temple Pilots by Lounge Fly, and the exhilarating pop/punk of Blink 303!

The Soundest Session- Clay Rose & Austen Grafa

Join us for a special show at The Renaissance Room!

Clay Rose is the front man for Colorado band, Gasolline Lollipops. Denver Westword awarded Gasoline Lollipops “Best Country Artist” in 2018 and 2016, and the group – which released the debut album Resurrection in February 2017 and followed it with Soul Mine just 11 months later – won the 2014, 2015 and 2017 Colorado Daily reader’s polls for “Best Boulder Band.”

Opening set will be performed by Denver-based Austen Grafa of Grayon County Burn Ban, Bud Bronson, and the Good Timers. $8 in advance, $10 at the door.

McIntosh Lake - Matt Steininger

Intergenerational Philosophy Walk

  • Time: 9-10:30 a.m.
  • Location McIntosh Lake, 1905 Harvard St., Longmont

Walk2Connect and Grey Havens Philosophy bring you a nature experience that will exercise your body and mind! Meet us in the east parking lot at McIntosh Lake. We’ll provide you with some exercises to help you reflect on nature as we walk together to Dawson Park (approximately 1 hour, 10 minutes with rest stops). Once we reach the park, you’ll find water, tasty snacks, and an opportunity for some fascinating discussion! Open for ages 11-adult.

Free (donate what you wish) Community Yoga Class

  • Time: 6:30-7 p.m.
  • Location: Left Hand Yoga Studio, 1811 Hover Street, Ste. H, Longmont

This class will be led by a different teacher each week in rotation to give you the opportunity meet them and see how awesome they are. If there is a 5th Saturday, the teacher will be a surprise.

Standup Comedy Tour Live Taping

  • Time: 8-10 p.m.
  • Location: Wibby Brewing, 209 Emery St. Longmont

The Rolling Green Room comes to Longmont, CO

The Rolling Green Room is a nationwide standup comedy showcase run out of a 33 ft diesel RV. Road warriors Cody Woods (Comedy Central) and James Myers (Sirius XM) live and tour in a green 1994 Gulfstream, tour the country putting on live standup shows in unorthodox venues. They bring local and coastal comics along for the ride while recording their experiences on their youtube channel.

Drive Thru Dog Show

  • Time: 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m.
  • Location: Chick-fil-A Longmont, 215 Ken Pratt Blvd

Bring your Dogs to Chick-fil-A Longmont for a one of a kind dog show experience. This dog show will be hosted in our Drive Thru so you don’t even need to get your dog out of the car!

We will be taking photos of all the Dogs who enter the contest and then we will be posting the photos on Facebook for our customers to vote on 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Our team members will also be picking a Store Favorite.

The show is free to enter and we will be launching our new pup treats! You don’t want to miss this!

Flavors & Rhythms of South America

  • Time: 6-9 p.m.
  • Location: Firehouse Art Center, 667 4th Ave, Longmont

Journey Culinary Ltd's Grand Opening Party in Boulder County! This evening will be a Cultural hub for adults 21+ and provide the chance for a taste of Peru, Brasil & Argentina at the beautiful Old Firehouse Art Center. The night includes:

-Background Bossa nova, Samba, Merengue & Salsa music provided by “Ole Caribbean” DJ and dance lessons, fun and easy to learn with or without a partner.
-Incredible Peruvian and Argentinian tapas, appetizers and drinks prepared by Journey Culinary!

Indoor Patriotic Performance – Longmont Chorale

  • Time: 3-4:30 p.m.
  • Location: Westview Presbyterian Church, 1500 Hover St., Longmont

Come in out of the heat to salute our country in the cool indoors! The Longmont Chorale sings Patriotic and Americana selections with piano accompaniment. Venue: Westview Presbyterian Church. The Rampart Rangers Live at St. Vrain Cidery

  • Time: 4-6 p.m.
  • Location: St. Vrain Cidery, 350 Terry St. Ste 130, Longmont

The Rampart Rangers are a foot stomping trio playing mostly uptempo bluegrass and fine fiddle tunes. FREE show and $1 per pour goes to support your local music scene!
