Think & Drink Philosophy Discussion: Bioethics

  • Time: 6:30-8:30 p.m.
  • Location: 900 South Hover, Unit C, Longmont

Since before the Human Genome Project began, humans have been asking ourselves how much we have a right to alter our biology and evolution. Enjoy some fascinating readings, deep discussion, and delicious, one-of-a-kind brews at our Think & Drink: Bioethics. No special knowledge or background is required. Grey Havens Philosophy discussions are for everyone. 

Comedy in the Renaissance Room

  • Time: 8-9:30 p.m.
  • Location: La Vita Bella Cafe, 471 Main Street, Longmont

La Vita Bella Cafe is starting a brand new monthly stand up comedy showcase our Renaissance Room and we're kicking things off on June 20th with nationally touring headliner John "Hippieman" Novosad. In addition to winning the Laughing Skull Comedy Festival and Laughlin Comedy Festival, he also has numerous television appearances including Late Night with Craig Ferguson. In addition, we've got the hilarious Donelle Prado stopping in for a set as she passes through town, the always funny Zoe Rogers rounding out the bill with James Gold hosting.

Free Local Kombucha Tasting + Demo

Longmont Pride Visibility March

  • Time: 1:30-2 p.m.
  • Location: 4th and Main St., Longmont

Let's kick off Longmont Pride day with joy and visibility! Come show your pride and be a part of Out Boulder County's Longmont Pride Visibility March! All LGBTQ+ identities and allies are welcome to come march and show your pride for our wonderful community. Festive, colorful dress is encouraged! If you're part of an LGBTQ-affirming organization, place of worship, volunteer group, or any other group, feel free to bring a banner or sign to represent your organization!

Saturday, June 22nd. Please gather on the corner of 4th and Main St. at 1:20 PM and be ready to start the march at 1:30 pm.

Sunday June 23

Barnyard Critter Day

  • Time: 10 a.m.-3 p.m.
  • Location: Agricultural Heritage Center, 8348 Ute Hwy, Longmont

Come visit with and learn about the roles of chickens, pigs, horses, and other animals on a farm. See demonstrations of sheep herding and horseshoeing, make butter, spin wool, and watch a driver harness and hitch draft horses. The Birds of Prey Foundation will have live raptors from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
