Welcome Vonnie Kyle to the Cellars stage on this evening!

Vonnie Kyle:

Santa Fe-based musician Vonnie Kyle has been carving out her own identity for years as a powerful voice in contemporary songwriting. Whether showcasing her highly personal, poetically confessional lyricism via intimate acoustic recordings or fronting the booming modern rock of her band Ten Ten Division, Kyle has evolved through the years as both a singer and guitarist to create a singular sound all her own. Kyle writes all her own material — prolifically so, with a repertoire of well over a hundred original songs.

Through this commitment to the craft of writing and performing she has achieved not just a sizable catalogue of music but what many artists strive for most — a powerful voice that refuses to simply echo past influences. With the instrumental chops to back this up, often blending several genres seamlessly with her deft playing, Vonnie Kyle is simply a standout act that cannot be ignored.

The tasting room will be open as usual from 4pm – 8:30ish. NO COVER, though tips for the artist(s) are encouraged and appreciated! Music from around 6:30pm – 8:30ish…We do not serve food, though picnics and snacks are welcome and encouraged!

Funky Bottle Release II (Great Things Come to Those Who Wait!)

  • Time: 12-8 p.m
  • Location: 2025 Ionosphere St.

We're ready to give you the FUNK, the SASS, and the in-your-face WEIRDNESS that you deserve! We have happily effervescent Red Globe Peach spontaneous bottles and a few remaining cases of the sparkling Chinook wet hop beer. While our first bottle release showcased BALANCE and NUANCE, this second release is highlighting some of our favorite edges.

First up we've got HARBORED IN THE FUZZ (750ml bottle, $25, 6.2% ABV, limit 3/person)
Our second effervescent stone-fruit bomb, this two-year aged spontaneous beer was refermented on Colorado-grown Red Globe Peaches from Hotchkiss for ten months before bottle conditioning for six months with local Alfalfa honey.
Sun-warmed fuzzy peach skin, fresh squeezed orange juice, and sweaty blue cheese aromas jump out of the glass. The intensely fruity and funky nose juxtaposes more delicate Bellini-like flavors. This beer is incredibly dry and pleasantly acidic. We think of Harbored in the Fuzz as the funkier brother to "So Last Season: Nectarine"!

About 3 cases remaining of Harvest Glitter!
(750ml bottle, $25, 5.5% ABV, limit 1/person)
Our first sparkling hop-focused beer, Harvest Glitter is the result of two-year aged spontaneous beer rested in Chardonnay barrels for ten days upon fresh/wet Colorado-grown Chinook whole cones from High Wire Hops in Paonia.
Candied pineapple on the nose is followed by notes of spruce tip, apricot jam, and white grape skins. The super restrained acidity and crisp, highly effervescent finish makes this beer an approachable all-day drinker.

We'll also have Festive Splash, a brand-new still beer in boxes!
Festive Splash is a multiple puncheon blend of year-old spon-spon bing-bong. Aromas of over-ripened pineapple, black tea with orange, and musty cellar funk are followed by bright citrus-like acidity that is balanced by moderate aged-hop bitterness and a slight honey-like sweetness. We are excited to release this thoroughly drinkable still-blend, which targets flavors reminiscent of those found in young spontaneous beers offered by our Belgian contemporaries.
