Winter Folk: Music & Photography Showcase

  • Time: Friday and Saturday at 5 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m.
  • Location: The St. Vrain, 635 3 rd Ave.

Welcome to Winter Folk: a 12 day, 40 band, music and photography showcase coming to Longmont, Colorado!

Join us at the beautiful St. Vrain luxury venue for all of the festivities from February 7th-March 1st (Friday-Sunday for four consecutive weekends).

There are two ticketing options. You may purchase a month long event pass (VIP or Standing Room). This will allow you to attend any and all of the 12 days. You may also buy three day weekend passes. This is a VERY intimate event. Once passes are gone, they are gone. Each day of the event will provide an instrument to a Colorado public school!

*VIP gains you access to the seated area in the front of the venue.

EforAll Longmont Winter Pitch Contest

  • Time: 6-8 p.m.
  • Location: Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Ave.

EforAll Longmont is hosting its 3rd Pitch Contest to engage and encourage budding entrepreneurs! It’s free to apply and free to attend as an audience member. Pitch contests are fun to watch! We invite the public to be a part of this exciting, interactive, and free event. The audience chooses the fan favorite $500 winner. Light refreshments will be served.

Where: Longmont Public Library, Longmont CO

When: Thursday, February 27th, 6pm-8pm

Application Deadline: Thursday, February 13th at 5pm

Have a business or non-profit idea? Apply at www.eforall.org and you may be selected to showcase your idea at a table or you may be selected to also pitch your idea. If selected, you’ll have 2 1/2 minutes to pitch your idea to a panel of judges. Our pitch contests are a great place to present your idea, and receive valuable feedback from industry-experts. You might even win prize money! 1st place – $1,000. 2nd place – $750. 3rd place – $500. Fan Favorite – $500. Ideas in all stages are welcome!

We will host a workshop in advance of the event if you want some tips on how to organize your 2 1/2-minute pitch.

Farmfest Saturday February 29th

Visit us at Farmfest this weekend, to visit and feed our animals, swing from the trees, balance on the slack line, jump on the hay bales and toast marshmallows by the bonfire! Reservation are required!

Longmont - Colorado Concealed Carry Class - $65

Colorado Concealed Carry class in Longmont, CO on Saturday Morning at 9AM, February 29th at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites 1355 Dry Creek Dr. $65 is the course fee, this is the only class required for the Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit. Olympic Marathon Trials Watch Party

  • Time: 9 a.m.- 12 p.m.
  • Location: Shoes and Brews, 63 S. Pratt Parkway, Unit B

It's Olympic year and we are ready to celebrate athletes and cheer them on as they go for the Marathon Team on February 29th!

Come out for a 9 am Run along the St. Vrain greenway to get your blood flowing and then... races start at 10:03a (men's) and 10:13a (women's) MST.

The men and women will be battling it out on the streets of Atlanta for their chance at a spot on the Olympic Marathon team!

We will have all 20 taps pouring and beer-mosas on the schedule!
Come join us as we watch what always turns out to be a very excited race for men and women!

NA beverage also available and maybe even some breakfast burritos!

We've got some local superstars heading to Atlanta and we can't wait to see what they do! #cheersquad

1st Annual Gardening Fair

  • Time: 2-4 p.m.
  • Location: Longmont Public Library, 409 4th Ave

As the days slowly lengthen and warmer weather gradually appears, local gardeners begin to hanker for soil between their fingers and young plants in their gardens. So, we're here to help launch the gardening season.

Get a jump start on planning your summer garden -- be it food or flower -- at the Library's 1st Annual Gardening Fair, featuring booths staffed by local gardening retailers and experts prepared to answer your questions and offer ideas.

All ages are welcome at this fun program -- you're never too young (or old!) to dig in the dirt.

Also, watch for our Free Seed Library to open in early March, too!

No registration required.

Rowan Trunk Show/Fashion Show and Yarn Tasting!

Join us around the LYS Community Table for a Rowan Yarn Tasting and Fashion Show! Multiple scarves, sweaters and vests on hand, all are select pieces from MODE Collection 1.
