Voters in Colorado have their ballots, and it is less than two weeks until Super Tuesday - it is GO TIME! It's time to give it everything we've got. Having face to face conversations is THE most effective thing we can do for Pete in this election. We will meet at La Vita Belle in Longmont, make sure everyone has the material they need and feels comfortable with the mechanics of canvassing, and then we will break out to different areas across town. Volunteers of all experience levels are welcome - the more the merrier. It's Phase 4 - time to win Colorado for Pete!

February Shakeshops

  • Location: A Taste of Shakespeare, 513 Main St.

Our February Shakeshop is February 22 at 6pm in Firestone!

Shakeshops is a place to help hone our acting skills that we don’t have time to work on in rehearsal. Most rehearsal schedules are about getting the play on its feet. 6 weeks that are focused on blocking, lines and of course the story.
What do you do at a Shakeshop?

People are encouraged to bring a monologue (2 minutes, please). Our love is always Shakespeare but we accept pieces from anything. We are here to learn. The piece does not need to be memorized. If choosing a piece is intimidating we have an extensive library of plays and monologues at the workshop. We have a workshop portion for the first part of the night, then we take what we learned and do the monologues. It takes it to a new level.

What happens after Shakeshop?

We see less of our people because they get keep getting cast. If you are ready to take your acting to a whole new level.
Come spend your time at a Shakeshop!
