GSA Summit Spring 2019

All GSAs, GSA advisors, LGBTQ+ youth and allies are invited to attend. Dinner will be provided, along with door prizes! Join us from 5-8pm! Location to be determined.

Rockversary Party

Mama Needs Chocolate

  • Time: 6-9 p.m.
  • Location: Longmont Downtown Development Authority, 528 Main St.

Come downtown for 2nd Friday and get everything you need to make Mom feel special. OR Mom's come out for a night on your own! In addition to monthly specials, events and openings, select businesses will be offering free chocolates (complete with decorative gift box to put them in - 1 per location! Stroll around and grab one from each) throughout the evening. Visit any of the participating businesses to grab a box, and make the rounds to check out the offerings and grab a piece of chocolate at each stop!

Free (donate what you wish) Community Yoga Class

  • Time: 6:30-7 p.m.
  • Location: Left Hand Yoga Studio, 1181 Hover St., Longmont

This class will be led by a different teacher each week in rotation to give you the opportunity meet them and see how awesome they are. If there is a 5th Saturday, the teacher will be a surprise.
1st Saturday of the month / Warm Yin Yoga with James Allison
2nd Saturday of the month / Kundalini Yoga with Martin Cash
3rd Saturday of the month / Qigong with Joshin Bogatin
4th Saturday of the month / Vinyasa Flow with Heather Hottovy

Longmont Symphony Pops Concert: The LSO in Space!

  • Time: 7:30-9:30 p.m.
  • Location: Vance Brand Civic Auditorium, 600 E Mountain View Ave 

Take a short ride on a fast machine with the LSO as we celebrate 60+ years of spaceflight with film music from Star Wars and E.T., plus selections from Holst’s The Planets and more!

Longmont ArtWalk Festival

  • Time: 4-8 p.m.
  • Location: Downtown Longmont

Come to Downtown Longmont’s vibrant Creative District where we celebrate the arts at a street festival like no other!

ART – Enjoy a diversity of artists who both exhibit and sell their creations on the street and inside our participating businesses. Experience live demonstrations up close and personal by visiting one of our Artists-in-Action.

PERFORMANCES – Kick up those heels with 2 stages of lively performers as well as several musicians entertaining inside venues all along Main Street. Take a moment to appreciate a talented busker or make a memory with a street performer.

INTERACTIVE ACTIVITIES – Everywhere you look, there are activities for kids and adults alike. Unleash your inner artist and create mini works of art to take home or contribute your personal artistic vision to group projects.

Free Tours at Callahan House

  • Time: 4-8 p.m.
  • Location: 312 Terry St., Longmont

The Historic Callahan House & Garden at 312 Terry Street will host an Open House with tours from 4 to 8 pm on Saturday, May 11, as part of Downtown Longmont’s ArtWalk. Admire works by local artists while you enjoy music in the garden. Admission is free. For more information about the Callahan House, including rental options for weddings, special events and parties, visit LongmontColorado.gov/Callahan.

Mother's Day at Village at the Peaks

  • Time: 12-2 p.m.
  • Location: Village at the Peaks, 1250 South Hover Rd., Longmont

Fiesta at Chic-fil-a Longmont

  • Time: 4 p.m.
  • Location: 215 Ken Pratt Blvd. Longmont

Come one, come all! Join us Saturday May 11th for a Fiesta thrown by Chick-fil-A Longmont.

For the kids we will have a Piñata making craft, bounce houses, face painting, a clown and they will even get the chance to learn some Zumba and Mexican Folklore Dancing.

We will also have a DJ, Mariachi Band and a live band. There will also be Loteria with plenty of Chick-fil-A prizes.

This is a jam packed evening filled with games, music and great food.

50 Shades of Blue at bin 46 in Longmont Saturday night
