Drinking Spelling Bee, Friday, January 25, 2019, 6:30 pm
Sign up and compete for glory ($50 gift card). Spellers get a number and free beer, wine or cider to give them courage. They are given a competitor number and they go up in order of their number. Miss a word and you are eliminated. Spellers who make it past round will get an additional free drink reward. Words will be increasingly more difficult as the rounds go on until one winner is left standing. Spellers can ask for definitions, language of origin, parts of speech or use in what may be a mildly off-color sentence. All taking place at 300 Suns Brewing this weekend, don’t miss out on the fun!

Beer & Hymns and is a casual gathering of people who like the idea of singing old-school hymns (and other fun songs) over a beer, or soda if that’s more your thing. It’s a space for people from all walks of life. Maybe you grew up in the church singing these songs. Maybe you used to go to church. Maybe you’ve never been or never heard these songs. Maybe it just sounds fun. We think you’ll really enjoy yourself so bring a friend and join us. No preaching, just a good old-fashioned sing-a-long.
