A 45 minute goat yoga lesson and end with a 15min decompression for guests & goats. The guests can pet the goats, hold the goats and just spend time loving the gift of these cute and innocent animals. This is also a great time for guests to capture their moments on camera. Bring your own yoga mat. Third Annual Holiday Festival: Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 16-17

The Longmont Museum’s holiday tradition continues after last year’s sold out events! Join us for songs of the season and holiday cheer from some of the finest musicians and performers in the region. Featuring the Heath Walton Jazz Quintet, Longmont’s Centennial State Ballet in excerpts from the Nutcracker, Venezuelan rhythms from Gonzalo Teppa, and much more.

(Matinee ONLY: Special Santa reception with complimentary cookies and hot chocolate before matinee performance only, beginning at 3 pm. Concert begins at 4 pm.)

Cheesemaking 101 with Tapas & Spanish Wines: Sunday, Dec. 17, 5-7 p.m.

Ring in your holidays with this fun and tasty cheesemaking & tapas class co-hosted by The Art of Cheese and Spanish Sunday.  First you’ll learn all about the basics of cheesemaking and how to make a couple of simple yet delicious cheeses from Kate Johnson of The Art of Cheese. Then Denise Milligan from Spanish Sunday will teach you some wonderful recipes for making these cheeses into Spanish tapas (small plates) and will pair them with some perfect Spanish wines for a fabulous, festive evening.  You’ll have plenty of hands-on fun and will leave with lots of recipes and ideas for hosting your own delicious holiday tapas parties! Ice Skate with Santa: Sunday, Dec. 17, 2-4 p.m.

Ice Skate with Santa at the Longmont Ice Pavilion, 725 8th Avenue. Skaters can skate to holiday music with Santa. Santa will pose for a selfie with you. Public skating is open from 1:30-6 p.m. with Santa being present from 2-4 p.m. Regular admission fees apply.
