Podcasts are an information medium that over 42 million Americans listen to each week.

Laura Krantz and a local group began their podcast series, “Wild Thing” in 2018. This podcast series focused on the search for Bigfoot.

Krantz brought her story and expertise to the Longmont Public Library on Thursday, April 4 to teach patrons “how the podcast creators gathered content for the podcast and managed the various business aspects of this emerging industry,” according to a library press release.

Longmont Observer’s Shaela Kilmartin was able to live-stream the event. Below is the video.
