Sunday, April 7, a memorial was held for the birthday of Rita Gutierrez-Garcia. In attendance was her family, many friends and Police Officer Jeff Satur.
Officer Satur gave a brief speech. "She went missing almost 13 months ago. Today, is about remembering Rita and remembering her family. She was a loving mom; she has three boys. She was a loving sister and a loving daughter," he said.
Satur told onlookers that they are confident they will solve the case, but it will take time.
