For all those people who love having a fun or creepy jack-o-lantern on their front porch on Halloween night, or enjoy the creative process of carving and decorating pumpkins but HATE cleaning up all that mess, we have the perfect event for you!

On Saturday, October 28 at the Longmont Farmers Market {9595 Nelson Rd, Longmont, CO} fromĀ 8 am until 1 pm, the market staff will set up a pumpkin carving station complete with all the knives, scrapers, templates, paints and other decorating needs. Market-goers are encouraged to bring their own pumpkins or purchase one at the market, grab a cup of coffee or cocoa and let their artistic inspiration go wild.

There will be a contest with prizes for:

  • The most original carved pumpkin
  • The best market themed carved pumpkin

and for the kiddos

  • The best no-carve pumpkin

Winners will be announced via email on Halloween Day.
