After much clamoring from local adult anime fans, the Longmont Public Library is partnering with the Grey Havens Group to launch "Anime-niacs," a brand new anime club at the Library for those 18 and older.

The club will meet every fourth Wednesday of the month from 6 to 8 pm on the second floor of the Library in the Unquiet Study Area, and each month will have a different theme or topic. Initially, the new club is planned to run through June 2019 to gauge interest. After the June meeting, the Library and Grey Havens will decide whether to make the new meetup a permanent programming feature. No registration is required, and anime fans are encouraged to bring as many fans as they'd like.
