Longmont Restaurant Week will make its appearance March 29-April 7. As of an email newsletter sent out on March 8, 2019, there are now 49 restaurants participating this year.

Special menus are crafted during this week to meet the prices set by the Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC).

Last year, the price was fixed at $18.71, the year the Chicago colony settled in the area we now call Longmont. This year, due to consumer request, a second price point was added at $28.71. According to Leah Winkler at LACC, several customers asked for a higher price to be added so restaurants would not loose money participating in this Longmont event.

A list of participating venues can be found on the LACC website.

In the next few weeks look for articles showcasing menu items for participating restaurants on the Longmont Observer.
