Longmont Public Media Makes Video Making Easy

Longmont Public Media (LPM), located at 457 4th Ave., is working to make video production easy.

LPM offers studio space which includes lighting, cameras, and backdrops for patrons to use to create videos. Members of LPM are available to help script show ideas to make them entertaining and fun to watch.

Need help filming? LPM holds classes to teach you how to use the cameras in the studio.

Once your video is created, there are classes and members available to help you edit on the video editing machines using Adobe Creative Cloud or IMovie software.

Once your video is complete, LPM staff will help you get it published on Channel 8 and 880, YouTube, and longmontpublicmedia.org.

There is no membership required but are recommended in order to gain 24 hour access, discounts on classes and much more.

Below is a video of several members creating their own show. This show happens to be Puppet News, but your show could be just about anything, the choice is yours.
