Longmont Police Report 12/27/18

PROTECTION ORDER On 12/27/18, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of Emery Street on a report of a suicidal female. After an investigation, the female was found to have a self-inflicted laceration to her leg.

PROTECTION ORDER

On 12/27/18, Longmont police responded to the 1400 block of Emery Street on a report of a suicidal female. After an investigation, the female was found to have a self-inflicted laceration to her leg. She was also discovered to have violated a mandatory protection order. Police took the female into custody after she resisted arrest and attempted to assault officers and medical personnel. After being medically cleared the female was transported to the Boulder County jail.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at approximately 0719 hours, Longmont police investigated burglaries to multiple businesses in the 100 block of South Main Street. This case is open pending additional investigation.

SEX ASSAULT

On Thursday, 12/27/18, Longmont police officers took a report of a cold sex assault. No suspect information was available. This case is closed for a lack of leads.

MENACING

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at approximately 2100 hours, Longmont police responded to the 2700 block of Copper Peak Lane for a menacing investigation. A 50 year-old Longmont man was arrested on menacing charges. This case is cleared by arrest.

OTHER AGENCY ASSIST

The Longmont Police Department Cyber Crimes Unit assisted the Windsor Police Department with the investigation into the sexual exploitation of a child. This is an on-going investigation, all inquiries need to be directed to the Windsor Police Department.

CHILD

On December 21, 2018, the Longmont Police Department responded to 300 block of Quail Road on a found 6 year-old child. The child was returned home. This report is for information only.

ANIMAL COMPLAINT

On 12/26/18, a woman was bitten by her daughter's dog while breaking up a dog fight. The dog will be quarantined at its residence. The victim was treated and released at the hospital.

ASSAULT

On Wednesday, 12/26/18, Longmont police officers responded to the area of 5th Avenue and Fox Street in reference to an assault. An adult male was contacted and issued a summons. This case is closed, cleared by arrest.

DUI

On Wednesday, 12/26/18, at approximately 2152 hours, the Longmont Police Department contacted a reported drunk driver in the 1200 block of Fox Hill Drive. The investigation is open and ongoing pending the return of blood results.

DOMESTIC INCIDENT

On 12/27/18, officers responded to the 1600 block of Iron Horse Drive on the report of a possible domestic violence incident. All parties were contacted. This case is closed.

BURGLARY

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at approximately 0719 hours, Longmont police investigated burglaries to multiple businesses in the 100 block of South Main Street. This case is open pending additional investigation.

VICIOUS DOG

Animal control was notified by fax of a dog bite. The victim was at Sandstone Ranch and tried to break up a fight between dogs when she was bitten. The dog that bit is unknown.

WELFARE CHECK

The Longmont police conducted a welfare check in the 900 block of Button Rock Drive. The case is closed.

THEFT

An employee of a Longmont business reported theft in the 1300 Sherman Drive. This case is cleared and unfounded.

MENACING

On 12/27/18, officers investigated a felony menacing that took place in the area of Mountain View Avenue and Vassar Court. After investigation an adult male was arrested and taken to the Boulder County jail.

MISSING PERSON

On Thursday, December 27, 2018, at about 1830 hours, officers with the Longmont Police Department were dispatched to the 800 block of South Terry Street for the report of a runaway juvenile. The juvenile was entered into a police data base as a runaway. This case will be closed pending the return of the juvenile.
