The Longmont Observer has been invited to join the KGNU broadcast team from 8:30- 9:30 a.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019.
This morning show will discuss: “How can the demise of newspapers and the dangers of social media be counteracted, in order to ensure a well-informed public? What’s happened to media? How are local communities taking back control of information sharing via community-based media? and How can this be funded?”
After a brief discussion, the show will be opened up for callers to ask questions. The studio line is 303-442-4242. We welcome all of your questions about the topics outlined or the Longmont Observer.
The show will broadcast at 88.5 FM/1390 am Denver/Boulder, and 93.7 FM Ft Collins and 97.3 FM Nederland. Also online at kgnu.org.
The broadcast will also be recorded as a podcast that will be shared on http://longmontobserver.org.
