Longmont Dairy Farms Inc. has announced their 24th Annual Poetry Contest. The topic is: Write about A Day in the Life of a Farmer. The deadline for entries is March 12, 2018. Email your poem to [email protected] or mail to Longmont Dairy, 920 Coffman St., Longmont, CO 80501.
Entries must include:
- Name
- Grade
- Home address
- Phone number
The contest is divided by grade divisions:
- K-2nd grades
- 3-5th grades
- 6-8th grades
- 9-12 grades
Other contest rules include:
- Contestants may enter as many times as they wish. Each submission must include the contestant's information specified above.
- Each winner will have their poems published in the May Mooo News and on Longmont Dairy's website along with the winner's first name, school and grade.
- All poems that do not win will be published on the Longmont Dairy's website at their discretion.
- All poems become the property of Longmont Dairy Farm, Inc.
- Your entry of a poem gives your consent to the contest rules.
Prizes will be awarded by grade/age division. The prizes include:
- 1st place $60
- 2nd place $40
- 3rd place $20
