Children and their families are invited to learn about the birds that travel between wintering grounds in Mexico, Central and South America to nesting places in the United States in this bilingual program at the Longmont Library on August 24, from 1 to 3 pm.
After a fun presentation by Environment for the Americas, children will have a chance to be a reporter and interview others about their connections to birds. Some of these interviews will be shared on social media.
Participants will also receive a bird poster and other fun birdy prizes. This program is best for children ages 8 to 11 and their families, but it is open to all.
