Starting this Saturday, August 17th, Longmont's Historic Westside Neighborhood Association will be hosting its 19th annual outdoor cinema night beginning this Saturday, August 17th.

The outdoor cinemas will run until September 14th, and will be held at Thompson Park in Longmont.

"I am very excited that we are able to offer the movies again this year, free of charge, because of the generous support of area businesses, companies, and individuals," wrote Lonnie Dooley, group leader of the Historic Westside Neighborhood Association, in an email to the Longmont Observer.

Pre-movie fun begins around 7 PM, with the movie starting at dusk.

"We'll have some dance performances before one movie, and we've added face painting before each movie," continued Dooley.

Movies shown this year include:
August 17 - Shazam
August 31 - Bumblebee
September 7 - How to Train Your Dragon - The Hidden World
September 14 - Avengers (either Infinity Wars or Endgame)

The event is free of charge and is open to the public. For more information, please visit the Historic Westside Neighborhood facebook page.
