Happy Thanksgiving!

Dear Reader, This Thanksgiving, we are taking a day off to be with family and loved ones. As such, there will be no news published today. We will be back at it tomorrow, but before you go, I'd like to say a few words.

Dear Reader,

This Thanksgiving, we are taking a day off to be with family and loved ones. As such, there will be no news published today. We will be back at it tomorrow, but before you go, I'd like to say a few words.

Looking back six months ago to when the Longmont Observer was conceived, I'm in awe of what your time, generosity, and dedication have made possible. You've watched our city council live streams, you've sent in news tips and feedback and you showed up and participated in our Ward II city council debate. Most importantly, you turn to us as your local news entity of choice.

Volunteering every day, I'm inspired --- but the most inspiring thing about running the Longmont Observer is the people. We have such a passionate group of volunteers who devote themselves to educating and informing our community. I don't say it often enough, but I am so proud of our incredible volunteers here. I'm proud of every single volunteer and every supporter who has helped the Longmont Observer get to where it is today. Without them, we wouldn't exist.

Whether you are a donor or a sponsor, or whether you are viewing our live streams, sharing our articles on Facebook and Twitter, or talking with a friend about something you read on the Longmont Observer, you are helping us achieve our mission to educate and inform our incredible Longmont community. Thank you.

From all of us at Longmont Observer - and from my family to yours - I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Sincerely,

Sergio R. Angeles
