What I Say About The Whiskey:

This is a white whiskey, unaged, and uncoloured.  This is a fantastic young liquor.  "Spirit," if you want to get hoity toity.  On the rocks, this whiskey is smooth with a rather clean finish.   On par with good backwoods moonshine.  For the unfamiliar, the reason for this clean finish boils down to how particular the distiller is about their heads and tails.  With young/white whiskeys, the tolerances for a smooth booze are tighter than with whiskeys that will be aged in a barrel.  The people at Longtucky have done a great job with this spirit.

What Longtucky Says About The Whiskey:

Shot of Shine is a Corn Whiskey (91% corn, 9% Malted Barley).  A Taste of Longtucky, our corn is grown 6 miles away at Schlagel Farms, our barley is malted 15 miles away at Root Shoot Malting in Loveland. Shine on me!
