Dear Longmont Observer Readers,
Thank you all so much for reading the news we provide every day. It means a lot to all of us here at the Observer to have your support.
I do have a favor to ask. Recently, several of my writers have had to move onto other things and it has left me shorthanded in the newsroom. Since the Longmont Observer is 100% volunteer-run, we count on our volunteers to produce our news.
I desperately want to continue to bring you great articles such as Christi Yoder's Faces of Homelessness and Views of Homelessness: The Community or SVVSD Opens Educational Third Eye with Video Coaching by Adam Steininger. However, without more people volunteering to help, articles like these will not be written.
And so, I am asking you to volunteer to be a Longmont Observer writer, podcaster or videographer. If you prefer not to write, these other forms of media allow you a chance to participate in your local newsroom and take minimal time to process.
