Dr. Bruce Perry, esteemed neuroscientist, speaker and author will be giving a presentation in Longmont on the importance of community in coping with trauma.

Author of the best-selling book, "The Boy Who Was Raised By A Dog," Dr. Perry's research has centered around society's response to trauma, and in particular, the way children experience and react to trauma. His research signifies the need for a healthy community, as such foundations can prevent interpersonal trauma and the breakdown of social connections.

The presentation, held at Skyline High School's Vance Brand Auditorium on November 11th, 2019, Dr. Perry will offer ideas on how Longmont can build a better future by examining policies within the city government and school district, among others.
