The Colorado Cider Guild (formerly Rocky Mountain Cider Association) will kick off their 3rd Annual Colorado Cider Week in Longmont on Saturday, June 9. The cider and perry trade association will host their annual Pressed Fest in Longmont’s Thompson Park, 420 Bross St., from 2-6 p.m.

Pressed Fest is one of the largest gatherings of cideries in the region. “To see so many cideries and cider drinkers come together for an event like this, is proof that craft cider is alive and well right here in Colorado,” shared Eric Hatlestad the Sales Manager of C Squared Ciders and Colorado Cider Guild (CCG) board member.

This year, attendees will have the opportunity to sample cider from more than 20 cideries from all over the world including many local Colorado brands. “The Colorado cider scene is rapidly evolving,” said Kari Williams, owner of Snow Capped Cider and CCG board member. “The beauty of this festival is that local cider fans can experience the vast array of flavors, styles and award-winning cider being made in their backyard.”

Pressed Fest is a CCG fundraiser, and all profits will go towards further promoting craft cider throughout Colorado. Festival attendees will have access to unlimited cider samples as well as local food and drink vendors. Colorado Cider Week is June 9 through 15. “One of the main focuses of the Colorado Cider Guild is to help promote and educate consumers on craft cider,” said Dean Landi, co-founder of St. Vrain Cidery in Longmont and president of CCG. “Pressed Fest plays a crucial role in that as it allows folks to experience a wide representation of ciders from across Colorado and the rest of the country, along with a few offerings from overseas.”

Tickets for Pressed Fest are $30 and can be purchased here. For more information on this year’s event, visit ThePressedFest.com. This year’s presenting sponsor is Wyatt’s Wet Goods of Longmont.
