The Regional Transportation District (RTD) is holding a public meeting Feb. 20 in Longmont to seek input and provide an update on the proposed Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) route, options to improve transit service, travel time and roadway improvements on State Highway 119, between and within the cities of Boulder and Longmont.
Additionally, the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) will present information about the proposed bikeway along SH 119.
Originally, the public meeting was to be held Feb. 6 but was canceled due to weather. The rescheduled public meeting will be held:

Parking is available in the center’s lot. The center is also accessible via RTD bus route 326. Please note this service ends at 6:53 pm. All Longmont local and regional routes can be accessed at the nearby 8th/Coffman Park-n-Ride.
Participating in the BRT study are the cities of Boulder and Longmont, Boulder County, Boulder and Longmont chambers of commerce, Northwest Chamber Alliance, Niwot Business Association, Boulder Transportation Connections, Commuting Solutions, North Area Transportation Alliance, Colorado Department of Transportation, Denver Regional Council of Governments, Federal Transit Administration, BNSF Railroad and the University of Colorado–Boulder.
A consultant team, led by Parsons Transportation Group, is addressing the growing congestion and travel demand in the corridor, environmental impacts,
multimodal access, transit reliability and corridor transit travel time, among other criteria.
