Boulder County Farmers Market opened on Saturday, April 7. The weather was cold, at a brisk 28 degrees, as it welcomed the intrepid vendors and customers.
Although cold, Casey, from Silver Canyon Coffee, greeted patrons with a smile and some hot coffee. Her booth was located next to Pam from Mountain View Grill. Pas was cooking some brats and hot dogs.
Aspen Moon and Olin Farms offered a selection of tubers and starter plants for those who are looking at beginning their own gardens.
The Boulder County Farmers Market is located at the Boulder County Fair Grounds in Longmont and is open every Saturday from April 7- November 17, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
In addition to sharing farm fresh foods, the farmer's market also offers live music and free activities for children each week.
Artisan shows are every fourth Saturday of the month.
