Summer hours begin on Sunday, April 1

Boulder County, Colo. - On Sunday, April 1, the Agricultural Heritage Center at the Lohr/McIntosh Farm in Longmont will open its gates for the 2018 season.

Hours: The center will be open every FridaySaturday, and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Oct. 31.

Location: 8348 Ute Highway 66, northwest of Longmont.

At the farm, visitors can enjoy the rural setting and mountain views while learning about the rich agricultural history of Boulder County.

Site Highlights:

  • Farm animals on site April through October including chickens, pigs, draft horses, and sheep
  • 1909 farmhouse
  • Interactive exhibits in the big red barn for all ages to enjoy, including a real tractor cab
  • Two barns, milk house, blacksmith shop (in use during special events), and many historical planting and harvesting implements
