Downtown Longmont gives you the chance to dance in the street and enjoy great live music from local and regional artists this summer with their 10th Annual Downtown Summer Concert Series. Every Friday in June, concerts will be held along 4th Avenue between Main and Kimbark Streets from 6-9:30 p.m. Enjoy live music, local food, a craft beer garden and FREE admission under the stars of the Downtown Longmont Creative District.
The Downtown Summer Concert Series celebrates its tenth year in 2018. This popular event pairs local and regional bands with food and drinks from community businesses and some of Longmont’s notable craft breweries including: Left Hand Brewing Company, Oskar Blues Brewery, 300 Suns Brewing, Wibby Brewing and Bootstrap Brewing. In addition to craft beer, one of downtown Longmont’s craft distillers, Longtucky Spirits, will be serving cocktails and Wyatt’s Wet Goods will be serving wine. Some of downtown Longmont’s finest restaurants will be on hand selling food, or you can come down early and enjoy dinner at one of nearly 50 restaurants. Click here for a full dining directory of downtown Longmont.
The summer concert series is a family-friendly event. Each week will feature kids’ activities, prizes and fun! There will be a special weekly drawing for early arrivals – just show up by 6:30 p.m., visit the wristband/token booth near Main Street and enter to win a T-Shirt, pint glass or other cool giveaways.
On June 8, the 5th Annual St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD) High Schools Reunion will be held during the concert. SVVSD alumni will receive school-colored beads and are encouraged to wear their school colors. Prizes will be given out for “Most School Spirit,” “Oldest Alum” and “Youngest Alum.” It doesn’t matter when you graduated, gather your friends and catch up over a pint. Register today here.
