Wibby Brewing took an inclusive approach to brewing their two newest beers: The Lager Family Dubbel and The Lager Family Wit, coined for the nickname of the Wibby Brewing staff.

The beers were brewed with the help of Wibby Brewing's 21 downtown Longmont employees for Wibby's annual staff appreciation party. The brewing was as an "unique collaboration that aims to enhance the experience and consumption for both its employees and customers," according to a press release sent by Wibby Brewing.

“We wanted to show our staff how much we value them by including them in the very reason we’re all here: brewing great beer,” said Wibby Brewing co-founder and brewmaster Ryan Wibby.

“We’re excited to share these beers, brewed with love from each of us here at the brewery, with our beloved customers.”

According to the press release, here is a description of the two beers:

The Lager Family Wit was made with a mixture of centennial, mosaic, and cascade hops, as well as two pounds of sweet orange peel. This refreshing wit clocks in at 5% ABV and 38 IBUs. The massive grain bill for the Lager Family Dubbel features chocolate and biscuit malt, lending to the beer’s 7.5% ABV and 36 IBUs.

These lagers are taproom-only releases that will be available on draft and in growlers while supplies last.
