Sustainable Resilient Longmont is hosting a Candidate Forum on sustainability issues on Wednesday, October 9 at the Library. the Longmont Observer is live streaming the event so that more people can learn where all the candidates for Mayor and City Council stand on these issues, including: renewable energy, zero waste, sustainable transportation, air quality, climate change, oil and gas/fracking, water conservation and land use.
Joel Edelstein, of KGNU Community Radio, will be moderating this forum. The questions have been developed by Sustainable Resilient Longmont. the forum hosts are also accepting questions to be submitted by the public and audience members will be invited to submit questions during the forum.
