Values With Shakeel is a new series being produced at Longmont Public Media by resident Shakeel Dalal. The show is based around sharing each other's values on particular topics and discussing them in a live-audience show recorded at Longmont Public Media.

Due to the precautions around COVID-19, this series has not been recorded in front of a live audience.

Dalal has moved the focus of his show from a philosophical debate about values to an interview series about Longmont Helpers.

In this interview with Joseph Zanovitch of HOPE, they discuss the services that HOPE is continuing to provide to people in Longmont experiencing homelessness. Zanovitch and Dalal discuss meals, opportunities to shower, and the challenges of social isolation that the homeless experience all the time but that the general public is just beginning to feel.

Zanovitch states that HOPE needs help, with donations to help cover additional staff hours and also volunteers. To learn more, go to www.hopeforlongmont.org
