Values with Shakeel: In this episode Shakeel interviews Issac Olson of the Longmont Elks Lodge. The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been a community service organization since its founding in 1868. Issac is one of the younger members of the nearly 300-member chapter of the Longmont Lodge, which is located in downtown Longmont at 3rd and Coffman.

Watch Shakeel and Isaac talk about the Elks’ Food Truck Court project, aimed at helping the smallest of Longmont’s foodservice businesses stay afloat during the present crisis.

The Food Trucks will be in the Elks’ parking lot starting Monday March 21, 2020 at 3:00pm. The Elks also run other assistive services, primarily for the elderly and veterans, including a free “rental” service of basic medical equipment such as wheelchairs and walkers. With so many people needing help, Isaac wants everyone to know that the Elks are volunteering basic services such as grocery shopping and other errands as well as their regular services. For help – or to find out how you can help - call Isaac at (303)776-1055, or email him at [email protected]. Learn more about Longmont Elks chapter 1055 here.
