Thursday, June 14, City of Longmont Traffic Engineering staff will be conducting work on the traffic signals at the intersection of Highway 119 and County Line Road. This work will necessitate that the traffic signals at this intersection be turned off - or "go black." City of Longmont Police Department officers will be on hand throughout the work to direct and control traffic through the intersection.

Traffic signal work is anticipated to begin at 9am, just after the morning rush. The intersection signals could be out for up to five hours as this necessary work is completed.

Although the intersection will be fully opened to traffic and have the safety support from officers, travelers are still advised to consider alternate routes if possible.
