The Longmont Area Chamber of Commerce (LACC) welcomed Steps Real Estate into Longmont with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Kay Fey, broker owner, gave a brief speech of thanks to everyone who came out on a rainy spring day to celebrate the ribbon cutting. "Thank you, we are so excited to be a part of this community downtown. Many of you may have walked by our building hundreds of times before we took it over and may not have noticed," she said.
Fey explained what they are bringing to Longmont. "We are not just real estate agents that are interested in serving the community when you have a house to sell or a house to buy, but truly being a gathering place for our community, being a resource for our community. We've hosted all kinds of classes for the people who don't have public spaces to meet in who need that gathering space we are happy to be that space. We love inviting everyone in, so please reach out to us if you need a space," she said.
Kurt Brewer of LACC Board of Directors, presented a plaque on behalf of the Chamber members to Fey to commemorate the event.
