Smuckers Manufacturing Facility in Longmont Celebrates Ribbon Cutting

On July 31, the Smuckers Manufacturing Facility, located at 2900 Peak Ave., Longmont, celebrated its ribbon cutting.

In attendance were Mark Smucker, President and CEO of The JM Smucker Company, Colorado Governor Jared Polis, Colorado Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera, Mayor Pro Tem Polly Christensen, and Weld County Commissioner Steve Moreno.

Each political figure announced their excitement about The JM Smucker Company’s decision to make one of their largest capital investments in the state of Colorado and also in Longmont.

The new plant will employ over 200 new employees at competitive wages.
