Shamin Hotels, a Richmond, Virginia based company, recently purchased the Pratt Company's hospitality campus, which includes the Best Western Plus Plaza Hotel located at 1900 Ken Pratt Blvd, Longmont. Shamin owns, operates and develops hotels under the Hilton, Marriott, Intercontinental, Starwood and Hyatt flags.
The CEO of Shamin is Neil Amin and according to his bio on Shamin's website, Amin, "is responsible for 50 hotels owned and operated by Shamin Hotels under Hilton, Intercontinental Hotels, Marriott, and Hyatt brands."

hospitality needs of the community. Mr. Amin and his organization have been
in business 31 years and include 51 hotels in their organization. Their reputation of
being a quality organization and being very committed to their communities where
they are located are well known”, said President of Plaza Hotel Corporation, Al Linton, in a press release sent to the Longmont Observer.

upon the strong foundation they have created”, said Shamin Area Manager, Sunil Patel.
The company has named Chad Hansen as the general manager for all operations in Longmont, CO.
