On Friday, November 1, Nextlight posted a survey on EngageLongmont that invites residents to discuss internet awareness and opinions for the community's internet providers.

The survey is open until November 30.

The purpose of this survey is to "create a fuller picture of the community’s familiarity with and knowledge of its online options," according to a press release from Nextlight.

“We know firsthand that Longmont families and businesses place a high importance on fast, reliable internet service,” said Longmont Power & Communications (LPC) spokesman Scott
Rochat. “We’d like to know how they see the online landscape these days, and how they feel about the choices available to them.”
