Boulder County Parks & Open Space will host its annual public meeting concerning prairie dog management on Boulder County Parks & Open Space properties on Tuesday, Dec. 18 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.
Staff will be available to discuss the variety of activities conducted in 2018 and how the department will address current challenges on agricultural lands. Public comment is invited. No changes are proposed to the Prairie Dog Habitat Element of the Grassland and Shrubland Management Policy.

Longmont Area Teens Head to National Flag Football Championship
After a heart-stopping second half win in the Broncos Invitational Flag Football Tournament, the We Sport U Eagles scored a berth in the NFL National Flag Football Championship. The team of ten Longmont area teens will fly to Orlando in January and will vie with 39 other teams for the national title. The top two teams in Orlando will face off in a live broadcast during half-time of the Pro Bowl. Continue reading.
