Midterm Debate Held at Longmont Museum

On Saturday, October 6, the Longmont Observer and the League of Women Voters of Boulder County (LWVBC), in partnership with the Longmont Museum are hosting Representative Ken Buck and Dr. Karen McCormick for a midterm political debate.

On Saturday, October 6, the Longmont Observer and the League of Women Voters of Boulder County (LWVBC), in partnership with the Longmont Museum are hosting Representative Ken Buck and Dr. Karen McCormick for a midterm political debate.

The debate will be held at the Stewart Auditorium. Seating is first-come, first-served and the doors open at 1:30 p.m. for a 2 p.m. start.

The questions for the event were submitted by residents across the district. The topics for the questions include civics, civil society, healthcare, agriculture, legislative powers and responsibilities, government finances and entitlement programs. The debate will be moderated by Shakeel Dalal, a Longmont Observer columnist.
